Directions
To Visit O’Leno State Park: The main Park is located about 5 ½ miles north of High Springs, on U.S. 441’s east side. The Park is open from 8:00 a.m. until sunset 365 days a year. Rangers’ station phone: (386) 454-1853. (map)
To Visit River Rise Preserve State Park:
Entrance gate is about a mile and a half west of High Springs on U.S. 27; second
driveway west of the Santa Fe River bridge, north side. (First driveway is a
public boat ramp.) The gate is kept locked, access is by obtaining the lock
combination from the O'Leno Rangers’ Station after proof of negative Coggins
test for each horse and payment of the $6 day use fee (or proof of your State
Park annual permit). Large groups (more than 10) staying overnight are asked
to register in advance.
